This mountain holds deep spiritual significance in Balinese Hindu beliefs. Located in the Kintamani area, Mount Batur is an active volcano situated within a vast 14 km caldera. Nearby lies the crescent-shaped Lake Batur, creating a truly majestic volcanic landscape surrounded by towering crater walls.
Your adventure begins early at around 2:00 AM, depending on your hotel location. Upon arrival at the starting point, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly and experienced local trekking guide, who will provide safety instructions and a flashlight for the hike. The trek takes approximately two hours to reach the summit. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning sunrise view over Mount Agung and Lake Batur. While you enjoy this incredible moment, your guide will prepare a simple breakfast of bread, boiled eggs, and hot tea — a perfect treat as you watch the morning light unfold.
After breakfast and photo time, we’ll descend back to the starting point. From there, we’ll visit a local Bali coffee plantation to see the coffee-making process and enjoy free tastings of various Balinese coffees and teas, including the famous Luwak coffee. Finally, we’ll drive you back to your hotel with unforgettable memories of this magical morning.
