Taman Ayun and Jimbaran Bay
Taman Ayun Temple, Tanah Lot, and Jimbaran Bay Tour
Taman Ayun Temple is located in Mengwi Village, Badung Regency. The temple was built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi, surrounded by large ponds symbolizing the cosmic ocean. After visiting this royal temple, the journey continues to Tanah Lot Temple in Braban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency. The temple stands majestically on a large black rock formation overlooking the Indian Ocean. The final stop is Jimbaran Bay, located in southern Bali, known for its long stretch of white sandy beach and famous seaside dining. Freshly grilled seafood is served on candle-lit tables right on the sand, creating an unforgettable romantic evening.
Taman Ayun Temple
Located about 18 km north of Denpasar, Taman Ayun Temple is the royal family temple of the Mengwi Kingdom and a perfect example of Bali’s architectural grace. The temple complex is surrounded by a wide moat, making it appear as if it’s floating on water. Its beautifully tiered shrines and lush gardens make it one of Bali’s most scenic and peaceful temple attractions.
Tanah Lot Temple
The name Tanah Lot comes from two Balinese words: Tanah meaning “land” or “islet,” and Lot (Lod) meaning “sea.” Together, Tanah Lot means “land in the sea.” This temple has been a place of worship since the Megalithic period, as evidenced by ancient stone relics found in the area. Built on a rugged offshore rock, the temple offers breathtaking views—especially at sunset—making it one of Bali’s most iconic landmarks.
Jimbaran Bay
In the evening, visit Jimbaran Bay, a tranquil beach lined with seafood restaurants and tropical surroundings. The area is renowned for its romantic candlelight dinners by the ocean, with live music performances by local singers. Enjoy a freshly grilled seafood feast while watching the sunset and the gentle waves. Dinner is optional and not included in the tour, as every guest may have their own dining preference.
